One with Christ

𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧 What is the meaning of Christ? Christ can be defined in Greek as "Christos" which means the "𝑨𝒏𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑶𝒏𝒆" or in Hebrew as "Mashiyach" which translates, the "𝑨𝒏𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑶𝒏𝒆".  When we say "𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕", we must understand that Christ is not a surname of Jesus but a reference given to him, describing him as the "𝑨𝒏𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑶𝒏𝒆".   Now, what was Jesus anointed with that made him to be referred to as "𝑨𝒏𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑶𝒏𝒆"?  𝗡𝗟𝗧 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙨 10 𝙫𝙨 38:  And no doubt you know that "𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑵𝒂𝒛𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒕𝒉 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒐𝒍𝒚 𝑺𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓". Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the Devil, for God was with him. It shows here in this verse that Jesus of Nazareth was anointed with the Holy Spirit and with power. Hence, he was called "Anointed one&q

Heed to God's word

Anytime you go against the will of God or fall into temptations, do not dwell on guilt. Heed to what God has said about you. . . . You need to understand what has been written concerning you in the Bible.  Hebrews 10:16  “This is the covenant that I will make with them in the days to come, says the Lord: I will put my laws in their hearts and write them on their minds.” Hebrews 10:17 And then he says, “I will not remember their sins and evil deeds any longer.” Hebrews 10:18 So when these have been forgiven, an offering to take away sins is no longer needed.     Look at Hebrews 10:16....   Hebrews 10:16  “This is the covenant that I will make with them in the days to come, says the Lord: I will put my laws in their hearts and write them on their minds.” . . . What are the days that is to come? Now! Now that Christ has died and resurrected. . . . Now, look at verse 17 Hebrews 10:17 And then he says, “I will not remember their sins and evil deeds any longer.” . . . In the days to come,

Lean on God

Beloved, do not lean or trust on yourself to please God but trust in Christ Jesus. . . . You can never please God by your works. It is impossible.  . . . In the old testament, it is said that a man's act of righteousness is as a "filthy rag" unto God. Good works was just not enough to meet the standard of being right with God. . . . But even though we were like filthy rags, He still loved us. With an unending and everlasting love. . . . In the book of Romans 5 vs 8, Apostle Paul "But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners." . . . God didn't come to die for us because of we've been good our whole lives, He died for us because we've been bad and were still doing bad. . . . This is not a reward, it's a gift. This was not earned, it is free. It was not works but Grace. Ephesians 2:5  Even when we were dead in sins, has quickened us together with Christ, (by grace you are saved)!!! . . . Christ h

Understanding God

Beloved, let your understanding of God be based on what is written in the scriptures. . . . See, when you have a poor understanding of the scriptures or no understand at all, you will percieve the character and personality of God amiss. . . . One thing you must understand is that Jesus Christ is the true and perfect description of God. Look at Hebrews 1 vs 3 Hebrews 1:1 This Son perfectly mirrors God, and is stamped with God's nature. He holds everything together by what he says—powerful words! The Son is how God is. Jesus is God in the flesh. . . . Every single description and understanding of God outside of the person of Christ is very wrong. . . . Look at this, every single person on Earth, after the Fall of Adam, until Christ came chose to have little or no understanding of who God was. Romans 1:28  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; They chose not to retain God i

For the Youth

There are quite a number of individuals, especially youths, that are going through a lot in this era.  . . . Daily, they are faced with the everydayness of this life; continually being hit with the tests and no-good seductions it usually offers . . . "This girl became sexually active at a very young age and a boy joined a cult at the age of 12". Day by day, this phrases seem to be getting very common. The Media even worsens it the more. . . . All that is happening to them is not their fault. It all started with Adam. Romans 5:12  Why, as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed on all men, for that all have sinned: Adam's disobedience caused Sin to come into the world. Hence, the very nature of man was that of a sinner.  . . . Even if you didn't sin in the manner of Adam, you were still a sinner. Meaning, even though you did good, much good, your nature was still as that of a sinner because of Adam's disobedience. Roman

The Truth

People tend to only understand what they believe in. . . . That's the scary thing about this life. People tend to only have understanding of what they believe in and only that. . . . Look at a child struggling with maths, for example. That little boy or girl is not dumber than the other ones or not blunter then the rest. The kid just doesn't believe in the subject, maths, for satisfaction.  . . . The little kid rather plays a lot of video games or watch movies and cartoons 24/7. Why? That's what the kid believes in for satisfaction. Hence he understands everything about video games and doesn't have a clue about anything regarding maths. . . . The same applies to every human being. Every single individual are more likely to have an understanding in what he or she believes is the Truth. . . . That's why there are diverse religions, political ideologies, conspiracy theories e.t.c. Also consisting of people who have gone deep into that specific belief. These people are

"For with God, nothing is impossible".

"For with God, nothing is impossible". If it was possible for the sin of one man to make you a sinner, then it's not impossible for the righteousness of one man to make you righteous.   If it was possible for you to be doomed for Hell because of one man's sin, it's possible for you to be saved by one man's resurrection.     The Old man was of a sinful nature but the New creation man is of an Immortal, incorruptible and righteous nature.      Those who are born again are not born in or of the flesh but of the Spirit. There are not born of the Earthly but of the Heavenly. They are not born of Man but of God!   When you judge your nature by the understanding of the flesh, you misinterpret and misunderstand who you really are.     You are righteous. You are Holy. You are without blemish or spots. God is pleased with you. You are the Righteousness of God.   That's who you really are!   How did it all happen? "For with God, nothing is impossible".

I have confidence in the Gospel

𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗹 Romans 1:16  "I have complete confidence in the gospel; it is God's power to save all who believe, first the Jews and also the Gentiles."     Many have this ideology that nobody knows where he/she will end (the concept of Heaven and Hell).     If you ask a lot of Christians, they'll tell you that they don't know if they are saved.     Misconception; a great one.     Let's look at John 3 vs 15-18  John 3:15  That whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:17  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:18  He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten So

No longer in sin

𝗡𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝗻 Some people, at the moment of first glance, due to the tone or the boldness of the phrase above, might think this is an excerpt that condemns.  It's best if you read through.     (1)  Romans 6:1  "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?" Romans 6:2  "God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?"     This text above has been used by many people unto condemnation or to exalt the "power" of sin. Thereby making the listener or reader become ignorant to the finished work of Christ by twicking with his/her emotions.     Let's use the law of pretext here.    (2) Romans 5:20  "Moreover the law entered, that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:" Romans 5:21 " That as sin has reigned to death, even so might grace reign through righteousness to eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord."     In the previous Chap

The Commandment of God

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱 John 12:50  And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatever I speak therefore, even as the Father said to me, so I speak.     𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 can be defined as an order that was given or an "𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒕" (a proclamation of a Law or an authoritative command).     𝗟𝗮𝘄, on the other hand, is defined a body of rules and standards of a particular region.     In some other cases, in the Bible, it can be used to define "A well-established, observed physical characteristic or behavior of nature".     When Jesus was one Earth, most particularly on getting to his death, he spoke to his disciples about certain commandments which were endorsed by God.      John 14:15  "If you love me, keep my commandments."       John 14:21  "He that has my commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.&q

The Gospel is for everyone

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲. Romans 9:25  "As he said also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved." Romans 9:26  "And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said to them, You are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God."     From the books of the old testament/covenant (Genesis to Malachi), we see that the promise of the seed was put in custody or rather given to Abraham and then to Isaac all the way to the arrival of Jesus.      From the fall of Adam, the will of God has always been to save  has always been to save the whole of Mankind but the many people in Israel, from the Arrival, Death and Resurrection of Jesus, to the missions of the Apostles and Saints, till date refuse to believe this. These people, Judaism in particular, believe that their saviour is yet to arrive. Also, their "Saviour" is only meant to deliver and

Justification by Faith

𝗧𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰: Justified by Faith 𝗧𝗲𝘅𝘁: Romans 5 vs 1  "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ"     Justification, in context with the verse above, means to be absolved (to set free, release ) and declared free of blame or sin.     Through the Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, all those who believe in him are justified or set free of sin. Romans 4:25  "Who was betrayed and put to death because of our misdeeds and was raised to secure our justification (our acquittal), [making our account balance and absolving us from all guilt before God]."     𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 "𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧"? By Faith     Romans 4:24  "But [they were written] for our sakes too. [Righteousness, standing acceptable to God] will be granted and credited to us also who believe in (trust in, adhere to, and rely on) God, Who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead,"      Romans 4:25  "
