The Truth

People tend to only understand what they believe in.

.

.

.

That's the scary thing about this life. People tend to only have understanding of what they believe in and only that.

.

.

.

Look at a child struggling with maths, for example. That little boy or girl is not dumber than the other ones or not blunter then the rest. The kid just doesn't believe in the subject, maths, for satisfaction.

.

.

.

The little kid rather plays a lot of video games or watch movies and cartoons 24/7. Why? That's what the kid believes in for satisfaction. Hence he understands everything about video games and doesn't have a clue about anything regarding maths.

.

.

.

The same applies to every human being. Every single individual are more likely to have an understanding in what he or she believes is the Truth.

.

.

.

That's why there are diverse religions, political ideologies, conspiracy theories e.t.c. Also consisting of people who have gone deep into that specific belief. These people are the ones who have the "understanding".

.

.

.

One thing we must know is that there is only one Original of something. There are also different types of replicas and also quite a few Anti- originals.

.

.

.

There is the Truth and there are "truths". There is the Light and there are "lights".

.

.

.

Jesus said to his disciples in John 14:6

"I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me."

.

.

.

Jesus reveals here that only through Him alone can we get back to God, because we were separated through the sin of Adam.

Through his death and resurrection, we can find our way back to God.

.

.

.

Jesus also said that He is the Truth. Who he is and what he has done is the Truth.

.

.

.

I'm here to tell you that Jesus is the Way back to God. That is what this "Way" in John 14:6 was referring to. And this is the Truth. The pure Truth. The only Truth.

.

.

.

Not everyone will understand it because they don't believe in it but we will keep professing it, along side with signs and wonders.

.

.

.

Many have contradicted this, saying either Jesus is not the way or they are many ways. But Jesus actually said something about this in Matthew 7:13-14.

" Enter you in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads to life, and few there be that find it."

The motive for being good

I was thinking....     "A good deed is its own reward". A very normal yet life-changing statement. My mom made this statement to me years back and it'll always be a code I stand by.     Building your mindset on this very statement as a Believer is probably one of the best ways to show how good Jesus is. It also proves that you have offered yourself as a living sacrifice to God.     It may look very casual or common to others but it shouldn't be for us... It's an integral part of our Christianity.       Our Lord, Jesus, and the Apostles of the new testament highly emphasized on showing charity, kindness and goodness to others.       Jesus gave us an example to follow... St. John 13:14-15 "And since I, the Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash each other's feet. I have given you an example to follow. Do as I have done to you." [NLT]     Apostle Paul emphasized on it... Ephesian...

According to scriptures, it is only through hearing and believing the Gospel that a person can receive the gift of salvation.  However, Apostle Paul lamented on this in his Epistle to the church in Rome..... "But how can people call on him if they have not believed in him? How can they believe in him if they have not heard his message? How can they hear if no one tells the Good News? How can people tell the Good News if no one sends them? As Scripture says, "How beautiful are the feet of the messengers who announce the Good News." [Romans 10:14-15 (God'sword)]       For the message of the Gospel to reach the world, people have to be appointed for it. Amazingly, we Believers have been entrusted with this responsibility.  The Bible says, in 2Corinthians, that.."𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒖𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒂𝒔𝒌 𝒐𝒇 𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝑯𝒊𝒎".        As Believers, we are God's ambassadors. We are witnesses ...

Who are the people you associate yourself with? Do they  make you a better person or not? This is a very essential question every Believer should ask themselves.     The Bible says in 1Corinthians 15:33 that...."𝑫𝒐 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒃𝒆 𝒔𝒐 𝒅𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒅! 𝑬𝒗𝒊𝒍 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑𝒔 𝒄𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒖𝒑𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒅𝒆𝒑𝒓𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒓, 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒍𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒓" and it doesn't get truer than that.        If those who you call companions (close or influencial individuals) are carnally minded, you'll begin to exemplify their characters. Gradually, you'll begin to see your focus drift away from God to other unfruitful things.        No matter how spiritually sensitive you are, once you become closely entangled with a carnal mind or an Unbeliever, your mind will most likely get corrupted as well.     The Bible also says that..."𝒂 𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝒔𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒂...
