The Gospel is for everyone

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲.

Romans 9:25

"As he said also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved."

Romans 9:26

"And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said to them, You are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God."

From the books of the old testament/covenant (Genesis to Malachi), we see that the promise of the seed was put in custody or rather given to Abraham and then to Isaac all the way to the arrival of Jesus.

From the fall of Adam, the will of God has always been to save  has always been to save the whole of Mankind but the many people in Israel, from the Arrival, Death and Resurrection of Jesus, to the missions of the Apostles and Saints, till date refuse to believe this.

These people, Judaism in particular, believe that their saviour is yet to arrive. Also, their "Saviour" is only meant to deliver and exalt them alone.

Apostle Paul gives a little clue about it in his Epistle to the Romans.

Romans 9:30

"What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith."

Romans 9:31

"But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, has not attained to the law of righteousness."

Romans 9:32

"Why? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumbling stone;"

Apostle Paul here revealed that the Israelites, a ratio of the people itself, were yet to embrace the finished work of Christ which is "Righteousness by Faith". These people were still chasing righteousness by works.

Let's look further into it 👇

Romans 10:2

"For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge."

Romans 10:3

"For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves to the righteousness of God."

Romans 10:4

"For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believes."

Romans 10:5

"For Moses describes the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which does those things shall live by them."

These people had zeal but lacked knowledge.

They refused to adhere to God's righteousness. These people refused to know how to get right with God. Look at another translation 👇

(God's word)

Romans 10:3

"They have not known the way in which God puts people right with himself, and instead, they have tried to set up their own way; and so they did not submit themselves to God's way of putting people right."

Let's go further into this context 👇

(God's word)

Romans 10:4

"For Christ has brought the Law to an end, so that everyone who believes is put right with God."

Romans 10:5

"Moses wrote this about being put right with God by obeying the Law: “Whoever obeys the commands of the Law will live.”

Everyone who believes in Christ is put right with God! Hence, a part of the people of Israel refused to believe or adhere to this. Remember, the Law of Moses that they followed, and still follow till today was strictly for the Jews.

Christ then ended the Law by his death and resurrection 👇

Romans 10:4

"For Christ has brought the Law to an end, so that everyone who believes is put right with God."

The Gospel is for everyone. Every single person you can name or think of.

The Gospel is for that drunkard, that prostitute, that terrorist. The Gospel is for that murderer, for that rapist, or Agbero.

Many churches today has distorted the Gospel, making it like it is attainable by works but no. A very big NO!

Salvation, Eternal Life and everything the Gospel has to offer is obtained when anyone, of any kind, of any race, of any character, of any past decides to embrace and put their Faith in Christ Jesus.

THE TRUE PLAN AND INTENTION OF GOD

TRUE PLAN AND INTENTION OF GOD Romans 9:22  And the same is true of what God has done. He wanted to show his anger and to make his power known. But he was very patient in enduring those who were the objects of his anger, who were doomed to destruction. Romans 9:23  And he also wanted to reveal his abundant glory, which was poured out on us who are the objects of his mercy, those of us whom he has prepared to receive his glory. During the time of the Law, God was supposed to show his anger to Man for their sins but he was very patient.  What is God's anger? The departure of his presence. He would leave those that has rejected Him. Outside of God is destruction. God knew that we were doomed for destruction. Due to the greatness and richness of love he has for us, he focused more on getting us saved than our flaws.  "He is not slow in fulfilling his promises but he is patient, that all may come to repentance." God's plan has also been to show us his abundance of Glory.

The New life

Ephesians 2:4  But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, Ephesians 2:5  Even when we were dead in sins, has quickened us together with Christ, (by grace you are saved;) Ephesians 2:6  And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:  𝖤𝗏𝖾𝗋𝗒 𝖢𝗁𝗂𝗅𝖽 𝗈𝖿 𝖦𝗈𝖽 (𝖻𝖾𝗅𝗂𝖾𝗏𝖾𝗋) 𝗂𝗌 𝗌𝗂𝗍𝗍𝖾𝖽 𝗍𝗈𝗀𝖾𝗍𝗁𝖾𝗋 𝗂𝗇 𝖢𝗁𝗋𝗂𝗌𝗍 𝖩𝖾𝗌𝗎𝗌 " 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀".    𝖶𝗁𝖾𝗇 𝖦𝗈𝖽 𝗌𝖾𝖾𝗌 𝖺 𝖻𝖾𝗅𝗂𝖾𝗏𝖾𝗋, 𝖧𝖾 𝖽𝗈𝖾𝗌𝗇'𝗍 𝗌𝖾𝖾 𝗍𝗁𝖾𝗆 𝗂𝗇 𝗌𝗂𝗇. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 𝖨𝖿 𝗒𝗈𝗎 𝗎𝗌𝖾 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝗅𝖺𝗐 𝗈𝖿 𝗉𝗋𝖾𝗍𝖾𝗑𝗍 𝖺𝗇𝖽 𝗋𝖾𝖺𝖽 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝗉𝗋𝖾𝗏𝗂𝗈𝗎𝗌 𝖼𝗁𝖺𝗉𝗍𝖾𝗋, 𝗒𝗈𝗎'𝗅𝗅

Lean on God

Beloved, do not lean or trust on yourself to please God but trust in Christ Jesus. . . . You can never please God by your works. It is impossible.  . . . In the old testament, it is said that a man's act of righteousness is as a "filthy rag" unto God. Good works was just not enough to meet the standard of being right with God. . . . But even though we were like filthy rags, He still loved us. With an unending and everlasting love. . . . In the book of Romans 5 vs 8, Apostle Paul "But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners." . . . God didn't come to die for us because of we've been good our whole lives, He died for us because we've been bad and were still doing bad. . . . This is not a reward, it's a gift. This was not earned, it is free. It was not works but Grace. Ephesians 2:5  Even when we were dead in sins, has quickened us together with Christ, (by grace you are saved)!!! . . . Christ h
