As Believers, we need to have a greater understanding of the gravity of God's sacrifice. If we'd actually look deeper into what happened on the cross, we would see that nothing ordinary occurred there. There would be much more value given to Jesus if we could understand what He's coming took and the changes it made.

In the Acts of the Apostles, when Peter encountered some Jews, he told them about Jesus.....

"You rejected the man who was holy and innocent. You asked to have a murderer given to you, and you killed the source of life. But God brought him back to life, and we are witnesses to that." [Acts 3:14-15 (God's word)]

Jesus coming to this Earth caused Him His very own life! To save you and I, He had to die.

It looks and sounds easier on paper right? Imagine being killed by the ones you came to save? That's how much it took from Him.

However, the book of Hebrews says....."𝑯𝒆 𝒔𝒂𝒘 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑱𝒐𝒚 𝒂𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝑯𝒊𝒎, 𝒔𝒐 𝑯𝒆 𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒊𝒕 𝒃𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒖𝒑𝒐𝒏 𝑯𝒊𝒎".

Now, the question is "What was the Joy He saw ahead?"  "Through the blood of his Son, we are set free from our sins. God forgives our failures because of his overflowing kindness." [ Ephesians 1:7 (GNT)]

Through the death of Jesus on the cross, we are set free from our sins! And our failures are all gone! Hallelujah!!!

Can you see what Jesus has achieved for us and what it took for Him? Apostle Peter said in his first Epistle that..."𝑯𝒆 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒅 𝑯𝒊𝒔 𝒐𝒘𝒏 𝒃𝒐𝒅𝒚 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒔 𝒘𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒅. 𝑯𝒆 𝒅𝒊𝒅 𝒔𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒆 𝒎𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒆𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔, 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒅𝒐 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒔𝒊𝒏". This is what Jesus did for us.

This sacrifice that Jesus made is the reason for Christianity and our access to the Father. Now the Holy Spirit, which is God's Presence and Answer, has been given to us in our hearts forever.

Jesus Christ is now the only hope we can hold onto, the only person who is ever faithful and the only place where true love is found.

As much as we acknowledge God for any other miracle that has been done, always remember to praise Him for the price He paid.

Jesus is the reason we are living.

The motive for being good

I was thinking....     "A good deed is its own reward". A very normal yet life-changing statement. My mom made this statement to me years back and it'll always be a code I stand by.     Building your mindset on this very statement as a Believer is probably one of the best ways to show how good Jesus is. It also proves that you have offered yourself as a living sacrifice to God.     It may look very casual or common to others but it shouldn't be for us... It's an integral part of our Christianity.       Our Lord, Jesus, and the Apostles of the new testament highly emphasized on showing charity, kindness and goodness to others.       Jesus gave us an example to follow... St. John 13:14-15 "And since I, the Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash each other's feet. I have given you an example to follow. Do as I have done to you." [NLT]     Apostle Paul emphasized on it... Ephesian...

According to scriptures, it is only through hearing and believing the Gospel that a person can receive the gift of salvation.  However, Apostle Paul lamented on this in his Epistle to the church in Rome..... "But how can people call on him if they have not believed in him? How can they believe in him if they have not heard his message? How can they hear if no one tells the Good News? How can people tell the Good News if no one sends them? As Scripture says, "How beautiful are the feet of the messengers who announce the Good News." [Romans 10:14-15 (God'sword)]       For the message of the Gospel to reach the world, people have to be appointed for it. Amazingly, we Believers have been entrusted with this responsibility.  The Bible says, in 2Corinthians, that.."𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒖𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒂𝒔𝒌 𝒐𝒇 𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝑯𝒊𝒎".        As Believers, we are God's ambassadors. We are witnesses ...
