Who are the people you associate yourself with? Do they  make you a better person or not? This is a very essential question every Believer should ask themselves.     The Bible says in 1Corinthians 15:33 that...."𝑫𝒐 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒃𝒆 𝒔𝒐 𝒅𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒅! 𝑬𝒗𝒊𝒍 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑𝒔 𝒄𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒖𝒑𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒅𝒆𝒑𝒓𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒓, 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒍𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒓" and it doesn't get truer than that.        If those who you call companions (close or influencial individuals) are carnally minded, you'll begin to exemplify their characters. Gradually, you'll begin to see your focus drift away from God to other unfruitful things.        No matter how spiritually sensitive you are, once you become closely entangled with a carnal mind or an Unbeliever, your mind will most likely get corrupted as well.     The Bible also says that..."𝒂 𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝒔𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒄

Each day comes with various kinds of obstacles or problems; and offences are one of them. People are prone to offend you one way or another. Oftentimes it might be unintentionally but it happens.        Offences are natural phenomenons; a constant. It might come through bickering or arguments or somebody just doing what you dislike. According to the English Dictionary, it is described as a "sin committed against you and what you stand for".       However, as Believers, the moment we encounter this, what are we to do? How are we supposed to react and respond to someone who offends us?       Apostle Paul wrote this to the church in Ephesus..... "Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of malicious behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you." [Ephesians 4:31-32 (NLT)]       According to Apostle Paul, whenever we get offended, instead of fe

As Believers, we need to have a greater understanding of the gravity of God's sacrifice. If we'd actually look deeper into what happened on the cross, we would see that nothing ordinary occurred there. There would be much more value given to Jesus if we could understand what He's coming took and the changes it made.       In the Acts of the Apostles, when Peter encountered some Jews, he told them about Jesus..... "You rejected the man who was holy and innocent. You asked to have a murderer given to you, and you killed the source of life. But God brought him back to life, and we are witnesses to that." [Acts 3:14-15 (God's word)] Jesus coming to this Earth caused Him His very own life! To save you and I, He had to die.          It looks and sounds easier on paper right? Imagine being killed by the ones you came to save? That's how much it took from Him. However, the book of Hebrews says....."𝑯𝒆 𝒔𝒂𝒘 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑱𝒐𝒚 𝒂𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝑯𝒊𝒎, 𝒔𝒐

As Believers we should be aware that God's spirit, through the virtues of Jesus Christ, now permanently resides in our hearts. In St. John's Gospel, Jesus said to His disciples right before He was crucified...."𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒂𝒔𝒌 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑭𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑯𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒓, 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖".       Now, if we have God's spirit in us, what are the proofs and expressions of the Spirit? What traits does it produce?  Apostle Paul reveals to us, in His Epistle to the church in Galatia, the answer.... "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, (which brings forth) joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. [Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV)].      Anything done that doesn't have or isn't driven by God's love cannot be inspired by His Spirit. The evidence of God to the world is His love manifested in and through us, via His

There's nothing about God's nature that can be found outside of Jesus. There's no representation of God more perfect and accurate than the person of Jesus.   The writer of the book of Hebrews tells us something very amazing.... "He reflects the brightness of God's glory and is the exact likeness of God's own being, sustaining the universe with his powerful word. After achieving forgiveness for the sins of all human beings, he sat down in heaven at the right side of God, the Supreme Power." [Hebrews 1:3 (GNT)]      Jesus, during His reign on the Earth, was the perfect imprint of the Father. God was manifesting His existence through Him. According to John's Gospel, when Jesus was asked by a disciple to show them the Father, He said...."𝑯𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒎𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑭𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓". This implies that Jesus was God's reflection to the world.         The world before walked with the inaccurate knowledge of God.

According to scriptures, it is only through hearing and believing the Gospel that a person can receive the gift of salvation.  However, Apostle Paul lamented on this in his Epistle to the church in Rome..... "But how can people call on him if they have not believed in him? How can they believe in him if they have not heard his message? How can they hear if no one tells the Good News? How can people tell the Good News if no one sends them? As Scripture says, "How beautiful are the feet of the messengers who announce the Good News." [Romans 10:14-15 (God'sword)]       For the message of the Gospel to reach the world, people have to be appointed for it. Amazingly, we Believers have been entrusted with this responsibility.  The Bible says, in 2Corinthians, that.."𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒖𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒂𝒔𝒌 𝒐𝒇 𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝑯𝒊𝒎".        As Believers, we are God's ambassadors. We are witnesses of Jesus to the world. Thr

Did you know that as a Believer, you are victorious. The moment you became born again, you were born into victory. The Bible tells us that...."𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒔 𝒃𝒐𝒓𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒊𝒔 𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅". So good!      Through Jesus Christ and His great works, by which we are now born again, we have overcome anything that is of this world. Death, sickness, lack, depression, loneliness, addictions, guilt, principalities, powers, e.t.c.        However, what made us to have victory over anything that is of this world?  Apostle John wrote something amazing in his First Epistle.... 1 John 4:4 (KJV) "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world."        Now, who is in God's children? His Spirit! The Spirit of God in a Believer is what made him/her to become victors over this world. God's Spirit in a person is the proof that he/she is no longer a

Too many times, due to the pressures of trials and challenges, we easily give up on God. Many get so overwhelmed in their minds with the tensions happening around them that they begin to lose focus on God's goodness and promises.     Apostle Paul said something really stunning in his letter to the church in Philipi.... Philippians 4:6(NLT) "Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."     The best thing to do when trials come is not to worry but to pray to the Father. If you overwhelm yourself with worries, your focus on God will be lost. Anxiety is the one of many factors that drains a person's faith. Anxiety makes you to forget all what God has done.     Apostle Peter said in his Epistle to ....&q

Apostle Paul said something amazing in his epistle to the church of Ephesus..... Ephesians 2:8-9(NLT) "God saved you by his special favor when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it."     Salvation (which is being saved/going to heaven) isn't earned by deeds or works. It's impossible for a person to attain salvation just by the good things they've done.  Even Isaiah 64:6 said...."𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒘𝒆 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒅𝒍𝒚 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒚 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒆𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝒅𝒆𝒆𝒅𝒔, 𝒘𝒆 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒇𝒊𝒍𝒕𝒉𝒚 𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒔". Ouch!        It's impossible to attain salvation by works simply because it's a gift! More importantly, it's a free gift from God. It's not meant to be earned, it's supposed to be received. If it were possible to get saved by works, we would boast about it but thank God we are saved b

According to Pst.Mark Spencer, "𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒗𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝒂 𝒎𝒂𝒏 𝒊𝒔 𝒃𝒂𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝒐𝒏 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒎𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒑𝒂𝒚 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒉𝒊𝒎". At the start of hearing this, you will get a little startled but if you look harder, you'd find it to be true.     Your value is based on how much a person is willing to give up for you. Or in a more classy term, your 𝐍𝐞𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡. Everyone has a value for everyone. Some are worth little but some are worth great.     Now, one may ask, "𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒎𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒗𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆𝒅 𝒐𝒏 𝒎𝒆?". Take a look at Peter's Epistle.... Peter 1:18&19 (GNT) "Realize that you weren't set free from the worthless life handed down to you from your ancestors by a payment of silver or gold which can be destroyed. Rather, the payment that freed you was the precious blood of Christ, the lamb with no defects or imperfections."   The value God placed on you is imperishable. It ca

Dear friend, God has never and can never stop loving you. Just like a mother loves her little baby, God's love for you is a million times greater. It's virtually impossible to fathom.     The Book of Jeremiah 31:3 says,  "the Lord appeared to them from a distance: I have loved you with a love that lasts forever. And so with unfailing love, I have drawn you to myself." (CEB)   Long before you existed, God has loved you. And the love which He has loved you with endures forever.      God's love for you endures circumstances or tempations. It's unwavering and unfailing. There's literally nothing you could do to make God stop loving you.      Never doubt God's love for you, no matter what you are facing or what you have done. If you feel alone or weak, rest on His love.
