ITS ONLY CHRIST THAT SAVES

 ITS ONLY CHRIST THAT SAVES.

Romans 10:1

Brothers and sisters, my heart's desire and prayer to God on behalf of the Jewish people is that they would be saved.

Romans 10:2

I can assure you that they are deeply devoted to God, but they are misguided.

Romans 10:3

They don't understand how to receive God's approval. So they try to set up their own way to get it, and they have not accepted God's way for receiving his approval.

Romans 10:4

Christ is the fulfillment of Moses' Teachings so that everyone who has faith may receive God's approval.

Apostle Paul saw that his people, though were very devoted about God, had no idea that they weren't saved.

The Jews believed that the only way to God was through the Law of Moses and fulfilling its morals.

Jesus said "I am the Way, Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me". The Jews, though believed there is a Messiah, didn't know what the Messiah was saving them from. Hence, they rejected Christ, believing it is by fulfilling some moral works that gives you God's approval. The Jews did not know how to receive God's approval.

This is the problem with many Christians today. They don't know how to receive the Salvation God has given to them through Christ, thus, making alot of persons not to be saved and doomed for damnation.

This is not all their fault because they were not preached the right message.

Romans 10:14

But how can they call to him for help if they have not believed? And how can they believe if they have not heard the message? And how can they hear if the message is not proclaimed?

Romans 10:15

And how can the message be proclaimed if the messengers are not sent out? As the scripture says, “How wonderful is the coming of messengers who bring good news!”

Bethren, Christ is the only way. The moment you believe in Him, you will be saved. Not by fulfilling some morals but by putting your faith on the finished work of Christ.

Your works can't save you, only Christ will.

The motive for being good

I was thinking....     "A good deed is its own reward". A very normal yet life-changing statement. My mom made this statement to me years back and it'll always be a code I stand by.     Building your mindset on this very statement as a Believer is probably one of the best ways to show how good Jesus is. It also proves that you have offered yourself as a living sacrifice to God.     It may look very casual or common to others but it shouldn't be for us... It's an integral part of our Christianity.       Our Lord, Jesus, and the Apostles of the new testament highly emphasized on showing charity, kindness and goodness to others.       Jesus gave us an example to follow... St. John 13:14-15 "And since I, the Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash each other's feet. I have given you an example to follow. Do as I have done to you." [NLT]     Apostle Paul emphasized on it... Ephesian...

As Believers, we need to have a greater understanding of the gravity of God's sacrifice. If we'd actually look deeper into what happened on the cross, we would see that nothing ordinary occurred there. There would be much more value given to Jesus if we could understand what He's coming took and the changes it made.       In the Acts of the Apostles, when Peter encountered some Jews, he told them about Jesus..... "You rejected the man who was holy and innocent. You asked to have a murderer given to you, and you killed the source of life. But God brought him back to life, and we are witnesses to that." [Acts 3:14-15 (God's word)] Jesus coming to this Earth caused Him His very own life! To save you and I, He had to die.          It looks and sounds easier on paper right? Imagine being killed by the ones you came to save? That's how much it took from Him. However, the book of Hebrews says....."𝑯𝒆 𝒔𝒂𝒘 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑱𝒐𝒚 𝒂𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒅...

Who are the people you associate yourself with? Do they  make you a better person or not? This is a very essential question every Believer should ask themselves.     The Bible says in 1Corinthians 15:33 that...."𝑫𝒐 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒃𝒆 𝒔𝒐 𝒅𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒅! 𝑬𝒗𝒊𝒍 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑𝒔 𝒄𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒖𝒑𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒅𝒆𝒑𝒓𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒓, 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒍𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒓" and it doesn't get truer than that.        If those who you call companions (close or influencial individuals) are carnally minded, you'll begin to exemplify their characters. Gradually, you'll begin to see your focus drift away from God to other unfruitful things.        No matter how spiritually sensitive you are, once you become closely entangled with a carnal mind or an Unbeliever, your mind will most likely get corrupted as well.     The Bible also says that..."𝒂 𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝒔𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒂...
